Your first comment requires approval
After that, comments auto‑approve unless they break the rules
No harassment, spam, or personal attacks
No posting malicious links
If you abuse the space, you’ll get warnings and eventually a ban
If you need to report someone, email admin@harlemans.com
When you leave a comment, the site collects:
the information you enter
your IP address
your browser’s user‑agent
This helps with spam detection.
If you use Gravatar, an anonymized hash of your email may be sent to them. Their policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy. Your profile picture (if any) appears next to approved comments.
If you upload images, avoid including location data (EXIF). Anyone can extract that information.
This site uses standard WordPress cookies:

Login cookies last two days (or two weeks with “Remember Me”)

Post‑editing cookies last one day
Nothing unusual or invasive.
Posts may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Those sites behave as if you visited them directly — they may track you according to their own policies.
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email. Comments may be checked by automated spam detection services (e.g., Akismet).
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely
Registered users can see, edit, or delete their own profile information
Admins can see and edit user information
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request:
an exported file of your personal data
deletion of your personal data
This excludes data required for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection services.
